Title : Final Presentation for CS540 Fall 2002  

 

1. Date/Place

 

   Date : 2002.12.9 (Mon) 14:30-16:00, 18:30-21:00

   Place: Room #1219 (EE building)

 

2. Presentation Form

 

   - 15 minutes time slot for each presentation.

 

     : Presenation first, and then show demonstration if you need

 

   - 10~12 minutes for presentation/demonstration, and 3~5 minutes for Q&A

 

   - warning bell after 10 minutes, stop forcefully after 15 minutes.

 

   - class students are encouraged to make a comment or question after each presentation.

 

   - prepare to begin your presentation as soon as previous presentation is over.

  

   - upload your materail to course web board until 12.8 midnight

   - Overall format is up to you, however, here is some guideline.

 

     : Project Title : 1 page

     : Table of Contents : 1 page

     : Proposal Overview : 1~2 page

       - Problem Defintion/Approach/Goal and Deliverables

     : Report : unlimited

       (describe what you have done, what additional issues are, how you have solved,

        what the results are, what contribution is, and more...)

     : Conclusion : 1 page

     : References : 1~2 pages

 

   - focus on the results, not on explanation your project again

 

  

 

   - Demonstration

    

 

     : prepare demonstration PC before the class

 

     : you can use your own pc, in that case, make sure the PC works well

       or you may install S/W on PC in SA lab.

 

     : you many use VHS video tape which record your simulation scene

       for better explanation on your works during the presentation

 

     : make your demonstration S/W works well before your presentation,

       you might want to visit SA lab(#2423) for the preparation

  - Even though you finished your presentation, you have to be at other students' presenation.
